‘Igbo King’ In Ghana Apologises for ‘Fake News’ Spread by Bloggers About Alleged Kingdom

The so-called Igbo King in Ghana, Eze Dr Jude Chukwudi Ihenetu, has apologised to Ghanaians over claims that he’s attempting to establish a kingdom in the country.
In an interview with TV3 Ghana, he said Ghanaian bloggers spread false information about him to the public.
Nevertheless, he expressed his regret for the claim that he wanted to establish an Igbo Kingdom in Ghana.
The Igbo King held a press conference in recent days to address the claims, and he was asked by Kemini Amanor why he rendered an apology during that press conference if he claims the information out there about him is fake.
“Because the fake information that the bloggers put on the Internet has directed too much heat that they linked up to my name that, I want to build a kingdom in Ghana, which is not true. This has also made the people out there thinking that Ghanaians are against Nigerians because of the fake information that the bloggers are putting out there,” he said.
He said even though the information is fake, he bears ultimate responsibility as he has his name attached to it, so he feels obligated to apologise.
“I see it that if there is an attack on Nigerians, as if there is attack on my home. So it’s a fake information, but it has my attached to it that I made a statement that I want to build a kingdom in Ghana, which is not true. So I now said, apologies from sincere apologies to the president of Ghana and the people of Ghana for this fake information that has my name attached to it.” he concluded.
He also slammed Hassan Ayariga for his attacks against him, calling them defamatory. However, he said he would leave the All People’s Congress (APC) leader to God to deal with.
