Go to Hell – Afia Schwarzenegger Dismisses Sammy Gyamfi’s Defamation Suit

Ghanaian socialite and media personality, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, popularly known as Afia Schwarzenegger, has reacted with defiance and mockery to a defamation lawsuit filed against her by the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi.
In a video shared on social media, Afia Schwarzenegger launched into a fiery tirade, dismissing the court case as irrelevant and empty.
“Have you seen how Kevin Taylor’s case went? That is the same way our case would go,” she declared. “Kevin Taylor has insulted Otumfuo, Chief Imam, yet he walks free.”
Afia’s comments followed news that Sammy Gyamfi had filed a defamation suit at the High Court in Accra, accusing her of making false and malicious claims in a viral TikTok video published in Asante Twi.
The statement of claim, filed by Gyamfi’s legal team from SUSTINERI ATTORNEYS PRUC, argues that Afia’s comments were defamatory and have caused serious damage to his reputation, both personally and professionally.
The suit demands a declaration that her statements were defamatory, GHS 10 million in exemplary damages, a retraction and apology in three consecutive editions of the Daily Graphic, and a removal of all defamatory content from social media.
But Afia Schwarzenegger, undeterred by the legal action, appeared unconcerned in her online response.
“Sammy Gyamfi, go to hell. Go and receive a defunct judgment. You have won the case,” she said with sarcasm. “Moreover, I don’t have a pesewa in Ghana for you to take if you win the case. I don’t have any property in Ghana.”
