Reggie Rockstone Reacts after Fire Gutted his Waakye Joint

Ghanaian rap legend Reggie Rockstone has spoken after fire gutted his restaurant, Rockz Waakye, in the early hours of Monday, August 4.
According to reports, the Rockstone offices and the Accra Tourist Information Centre buildings, located opposite Afrikiko in the heart of Accra, were engulfed by flames.
Director of Diaspora Affairs at the Office of the President, Kofi Okyere-Darko (KOD), shared the news in a post on social media around 2:00 am Monday.
“What a shame! Fire outbreak reported at the Accra Tourist Centre and Rockstone’s,” he wrote.

Reggie Rockstone speaks
Following the fire outbreak, Reggie Rockstone shared a video of the fire and expressed gratitude to God.
“PRAISES DUE YOU THE MOST HIGH YAH! WE THANK U FOR ALL AND YOUR PROTECTION OVER YOUR CHILDREN 🙏🏿 THANKING ALL THE LOVE SHOWN! CAN I GET AN AMEN🙏🏿,” he said.
In a follow-up post, Rockstone spoke about the incident and expressed gratitude to the Ghana National Fire Service for their help in handling the blaze.
“A GOOD MORNING AND A BAD NIGHT BUT WE ARE ALL ALRIGHT SO WE GIVE THANKS AMEN. WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU ON ALL BLESS U @gnfsofficial THANK U,” he added.

Reggie Rockstone is an institution, and his waakye joint has become a big part of Accra life; hence, it’s a big relief to hear it escaped total destruction in the blaze.
