NPP Has Sidelined Me – Former President Kuffour Cries

Former President of Ghana and a leading member of the New Patriotic party, John Agyekum Kuffour has disclosed publicly that he has been sidelined from the party.
Former President Kuffour revealed during an interview that he is no more involved in taking major decisions in Party.
According to him, the NPP currently takes major decisions without soliciting for his opinion or consulting him about it.
The 86-year-old former President, Kuffour, noted that though he is old, he is not in the state where he has lost his thinking ability and power to reason.
He went on to recount how the NPP party travelled from the UGCC era and the various roles and responsibilities he has played over the years to help build the NPP.
Former President Kuffour’s revelation has opened up a seeming segregation within the New Patriotic Party.
Aside from former Vice President Bawumia and Kennedy Agyapong protesting and contesting for the next flagbearership position, which has not been decent enough, there seem to be other issues preventing the party from being united!
The former President outcry is enough evidence that all is not well in the New Patriotic Party!
Following Kuffour’s revelation, some party faithfuls are sharing various grievances online.
Also, an alleged leader of NPP’s Invincible Force has also registered the team’s displeasure in the party.
According to him, the NPP used and dumped them during the 2016 and 2020 elections.
He revealed the leaders of the party promised them jobs, but they were arrested and put behind bars when they demanded settlement after protecting them and the ballots with their lives during the elections.
