A Plus Appeals for Support After Abandoned Baby Rescued in Gomoa Central
Gomoa Central Member of Parliament, Hon. Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, has shared a touching story from his constituency and issued a heartfelt call for public support to care for orphans and abandoned children.
According to the MP, a baby boy was recently found abandoned on a farm within Gomoa Central and was rescued by locals.
The infant has since been placed in the care of Pastor Nyame, a man A Plus describes as “a remarkable man of God who has dedicated his life to caring for children without parents or proper guardianship.”
Moved by the pastor’s dedication, A Plus said he has appealed to him to extend his support beyond the constituency.
“I’ve appealed to him to open his doors to orphans not only in Gomoa Central, but from all over the country who need love and support,” he wrote on Facebook.
The legislator is now calling on Ghanaians to lend a hand.
“We now need your help to put smiles on the faces of these little angels,” he said.
“To everyone who has asked how to support the #BusyTeam in the Gomoa Central Constituency, I’m humbly appealing to you.”
He encouraged the public to contribute either financially or by donating items, emphasizing that “no amount or item is too small.”
In addition, he urged those willing and able to adopt a child under Pastor Nyame’s care and support them monthly with any amount they can manage.
“Every gesture, no matter how small, makes a real difference in the lives of these children,” A Plus stressed.
For those willing to help, the MP provided a direct contact number for Pastor Nyame: 0240090446.
“Let’s give these children the love, care, and future they deserve,” A Plus concluded.
