Don’t Do Wedding, Invest The Money In The Marriage – Duncan Williams Advises Church Members

Founder and leader of Action Church Chapel, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams has admonished his church members not to do weddings and rather invest the money in the marriage.
In a sermon, the man of God advised his members to go for a court signing, kiss, and go home. And put the money to good use for the marriage afterwards.
He noted if one’s parents are organising the wedding, it’s fair enough, but other than that, he would prefer taking the money and investing it in the marriage.
Duncan William’s submission has since gone viral on various social media platforms as Ghanaian youth react to it.

While some people cannot shake off the fantasy about weddings and plan to experience it with its glitz and glam no matter what it takes, others are praising him for giving wise advice to the youth.
To some people, a wedding looks beautiful, classy, and fun, but it’s indeed a waste of money and resources when the marriage is yet to begin.
Currently, some Ghanaian youth are in a debate over the topic. Is a wedding important when it comes to marriage, or is it not?
Recently, Duncan Williams was in the news after the NPP’s Bono Regional Chairman, Abronye, revealed that he was pushing for President Mahama’s third term in office.
According to Abronye, Archbishop Duncan Williams called some 25 pastors and paid them $10,000 each to pray for President John Dramani Mahama to go for a third term.
However, Duncan Williams denied the allegation. He noted that it is against the constitution, but if that is what he truly believes, he does not need to call other pastors and pay them to pray; he could do that himself.
He also mentioned he would have disclosed his intentions publicly if that was his conviction.
